Antonio Giustozzi is Senior Research Fellow at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI), London. He is the author of Jihadism in Pakistan: Al-Qa’ida, Islamic State and the Local Militants, (I.B. Tauris, 2023), The Islamic State in Khorasan (Hurst, 2022), The Taliban at War: 2002-2021 (Oxford University Press, 2022) and several other studies on the Islamic State.
