Adjunct Professor of Arab Culture at the University of Milan, degree course in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation. Recalled to duty by the Italian Army, in Iraq he held the position of Political Advisor and Tribal Affairs Officer, while in Lebanon was Cultural Advisor. Also in Iraq, at the Unit of Support to Reconstruction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he was responsible for projects in the fields of Governance and Rule of Law. He collaborates with the geopolitical magazine Limes, with the website QuiFinanza and ISPI in the teaching board for the Winter / Summer School on the theme "The Energy Policies of the European Union", where he deals with the Middle East. He holds a PhD in Institutions and Policies from the Catholic University of Milan, having written a thesis on State and Tribalism in the Contemporary Middle East. He is a lawyer in Milan.
