Moncef Djaziri is senior teaching and research lecturer at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland), a member of the International Centre of Geopolitics and Foresight Analysis (CIGPA, Paris), and a specialist on Libya. His primary research and publications deal with the history of the formation of the Libyan state and political system, in particular the problems of state-building and socio-economic and political transformations. He is also interested in the issue of democratic transition, a theme to which he has devoted several publications.
