Associate Professor of Economics at the Hampshire College (Massachusetts, US) and researcher at the Arab Studies Institute (Washington DC and Beirut), Omar Dahi received his PhD in Economics from the University of Notre Dame (Indiana, US). His researching and teaching interests are in the areas of economic development and international trade, with a special focus on South-South economic cooperation, and on the political economy of the Middle East and North Africa.
