Benjamin Bruce is Professor and CONACYT Research Fellow at El Colegio de la Frontera Norte in Monterrey, Mexico. He completed his PhD in Political Science and International Relations at Sciences Po, Paris and was recipient of the Rémy Leveau Prize for best doctoral thesis. He has been visiting scholar at the Centre Jacques Berque in Morocco, the Institut Français des Études Anatoliennes in Turkey, and the Wissenschaftszentrum zu Berlin in Germany. He studies migration, diaspora politics, transnational movements, and international relations, and is the author of the book Governing Islam Abroad: Turkish and Moroccan Muslims in Western Europe (2019).
