A socio-economist and chargé de mission at the Ministry for Ecology, Bernard Perret teaches at the Institut catholique of Paris. He is the Vice-President of the Association Recherches Mimétiques (ARM) whose aim is to promote the thought of René Girard. A member of the editorial board of the review Esprit, he has published some ten books, amongst which: L’économie contre la société (1993), La logique de l’espérance (2006) and Pour une raison écologique (2011).
