Felice Dassetto is co-founder of the European Social Observatory, a research center on European politics and professor emeritus at the University of Louvain, where he has taught Sociology and Anthropology for many years. He has dedicated the last years of his academic career to the sociology of Islam, and he also founded a research center on contemporary Islam (CISMOC). He collaborates as an expert to the Oasis project “Not an Era of Change, but a Change of Era”. In 2017, he participates in the Oasis project "In Search of a Leader. Authority in Contemporary Islam".
