An Indonesian Jesuit of German origins, was born in 1936 and teaches Philosophy in Jakarta. He is the author of a large numebr of publications, above all in Indonesian, in particular in the field of ethics, political philosophy and the culture of Java. He is very much involved in interreligious dialogue.
