Professor Henry Laurens teaches at the Collège de France, where he holds the chair for Contemporary History of the Arab World since 2004. He has studied the Palestinian issue and the relationship between Europe and the Arab-Islamic world, on which he published several books and articles. He is a Knight of the Légion d'Honneur since 2011.
