Professor Ian Richard Netton is Professor of Islamic Studies in the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies in the University of Exeter, UK. He is also a Consultor to the Commission for Religious Relations with Muslims of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue.
