Joseph R. Wood, a retired Air Force colonel, served at the White House from 2005 - 2008 with responsibility for policy involving Europe, Eurasia, Africa, and the UN. After graduating from the Air Force Academy and French Défense College in Paris, and holding a Master Degree from Harvard with focus on European politics and security, he taught Political Science at the U.S. Air Force Academy and the Pentagon. He has keen interests in religious freedom and the relationship among theology, philosophy, and contemporary policy.
