Marc Boucrot was born in Choisy-le Roi (France) in 1948. A graduate in Theology at the Institut Catholic in Paris, he holds a PhD in Comparative literature from the University of Bordeaux III and a diploma of Arabic Language and Civilization from the Inalco of Paris. He has been a priest in Morocco since 1977. From 1978 to 1989 he taught French in a Moroccan public high school. He has been the secretary general of the Catholic schools in Morocco. He took part in several conferences on interfaith dialogue.
