Extraordinary Professor of International Relations at the Catholic University of Milan, he is co-ordinator of the course of international politics at ASERI (the Superior School of Economics and International Relations). He co-ordinated a Tempus-Med programme for the creation of a master''s degree in intercultural mediation at the Université Saint Josephì of Beirut. He is also a leader writer on international politics for the daily newspaper Avvenire and for the Giornale del Popolo of Lugano.
